^^^^^ I'll dig up some of the M3 images I think one of the guys shot. Plates taped for secrecy as we were the only three stock cars...also lots of people taking photos and our plates will end up all over the internet.

Was this your first high performance driving school?

If so what a historic track!

Yeah...first instruction. I've driven Hockenheim, Nurburgring and now Spa. Now am anxiously looking forward to the "M" school in Sept as we get to drive their cars and tear up their tires and guzzle their gas ...add the insurance costs and english instruction and knowing I'm not tearing up my own car, definitely worth the 924 euros.

BTW...the Dutch BMW club invited us to Zandvoort in July to participate in their next event.

Yeah...my huge thanks for the great photos by Ray, Wade, Roger and Mike....

Dave, if you ever do this you definitely need a pit crew and one dedicated camera person as you are way too deep and involved in driving and what's happening to your car to shoot anything worthwhile......

Rick why is that M school so cheap? I thought they are normally like 3+K euros over here!? And where is that school. It would be cool to join you guys for that in Sept. I'm all up for tearing up someone elses equipment!

Again great photo coverage of the Spa event!

How much will that run? I'm just curious, not for me - but for anyone else thinking about doing it. Maybe post a link or make a new thread for it. ?

Let me know the dates. I have done several driving schools with the car club back in the good ole U.S.A.

The BMW club here nearest me Neckar Fils is mostly a social club, but still cool none the less.

Now that you know your supposed to look ahead & threshold brake, and be smooth you'll be all the better.

Mod the driver, it's always cheaper and much more fun

What is the best section of the track? At VIR I loved going though the hogs pen & was always cautious at the climbing esses.

Video will arrive soon as its surprisingly boring as a 4min track video...with the wide angle go pro, the perspective is skewed and you can feel the intensity or feel the speed...this was a seriously intense drive but the wide-angle video makes it appear to be a Sunday drive...so am editing multiple angles to create the final video.

Forgot to post the tire photos, Toyo Proxes after 30+ laps at Spa! Fronts are 265s and rears are 285s.

Rudi, did you photograph your Pilot Super Sports?

Jeezz man I wonder how they would look when doing this in summer?

No I haven't taken any pics and btw they where PS2's but they where less chewed up as where yours. Wich is normal being softer rubber.

Best part was the section called "eau rouge"...a 100+ mph curve left and then quick right up a hill gaining a couple hundred feet of elevation and blindly taking another left hand turn, still doing 90 or more....my blood was boiling every time I did this...

Look at that ///M sticker...Rudi's got some bling on his car....nice!

So tell us about your driving experience. Did you do a public track day or was it a club event? Any different than our day in March. What worked better on your car this time?

I don't see the 4-points? any other mods to make your car better?
