It won't take to long to be available. It should be finished this Sunday then it will go out to be molded then when it gets back they can make 1 lip per day I believe. So I would say a few weeks at most.

Could always cancel that order =).

You will not regret your Kerscher purchase, considering value, install and the fact that it looks great on any color car.

I am sure this new splitter will be Top Shelf, price included so it won't be for everyone. Just from the pics, it will be significantly more than iCarbon. Its always great to have options, its also great to be part of the development journey.

Exactly how much is their 1M going for?

I'd like to see the finished product, but I'm liking the idea so far.

The 1M SleK front lip is about 1200$, but this will be cheaper. SleK will try their best to have it come in around the iCarbon MSRP.

I hope they consider a FRP option also.

Agreed! They should make a plastic one, aswell as a CF one. It's cheaper for them than making CFs and it help out reaching an wider audience (those who want the "cheaper" option, or don't prefer CF)

Looks awesome though, I will for sure buy one, plastic or CF.

Considering iCarbon was made in China, didn't use high quality clear coat and still sold tons of them at 800$+. Then having a lip made 100% in the USA, 0 fitment issues, better clear coat for around the same price would be a steal.

Problem is iCarbon did this when they released the FRP version of the lip and the CF one. They did not sell anywhere near the same amount of lips in FRP that they did with CF and ended up discontinuing the FRP version.

They may consider a FRP version later down the line if enough interest is generated. But for now CF only.

Its not just about having a "cheaper version". I would like to have something that I don't have to worry about going off during a race into grass or sand and cracking a $1000 lip vs a $300 peice that I can repair myself.

Don't think ANYTHING will be a 0 fitment issue product so that is a pretty BOLD statement especially not coming from SLek.. so I will take that as a claim to show that it will have near perfect fitment.

Still think you are dreaming if you expect $300.00 for an FRP version..

Overall it looks nice but I will wait till the actual product comes out to determine if its worth the upgrade or price.. Icarbon sold so many because there was little to no options at the time.. and for 3D lips which are not CF to be $1XXX it was a bargain to some.

You're right, I don't represent SleK and my opinions are just my own. But when I was at the facility we had a long discussion about iCarbon, Scopione, China Manufacturing and etc. The owner of SleK told me that his main reason for keeping manufacturing here in the USA instead of going to China is fitment and quality control.

Once you move production overseas you do not have the same type of control of your products that you would here. SleK is not a new company, they have been making products for the S2k market for years. They just created the SleK brand for the BMW crowd.

Just a small tidbit of information, the facility and employee's SleK is using right now is the same facility that Arkym used to manufacture their CF products in before they outgrew it. Everyone in the E9x community knows how great and flawless Arkym fitment is.
