Feeler: '13 128i M-Sport, 6MT, 49k miles, Alpine on Coral Red
I normally dislike "feeler" posts but in this instance I am genuinely wrestling with the idea of letting go of my 128i M-Sport. Knowing these cars are highly sought after, folk's interest (or lack thereof) could play a big role in my decision process. I picked up the car last summer to replace my B8.5 S5 as a daily driver. I had a 128i 6MT about a decade ago and knew it was the perfect DD for me; reliable, agile, and just plain fun. After searching every day for over 6 months, this car fell into my lap and I pounced on it. I purchased it from the original owner, who bought it new and serviced it religiously at BMW dealers. It has performed beautifully for me during my brief ownership, but I am now contemplating getting back into an E9x M3, another former car I miss dearly.
Maintenance records since new Interior and exterior, both 9/10 Runs and drives beautifully Just about the only known "issues" with the N51/52 are all done; oil filter housing gasket @ 31k miles, oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket both done @ 45k miles. Car is stock with the exception of some OEM+ upgrades I have performed within the last 1k miles:
Clean carfax (attached), no accidents. The only disclosure item is that the owner had some panels repainted for superficial reasons. They had the car garaged with some bikes and, from taking the bikes on and off the wall and maneuvering them around the car over the years, it developed some scratches and rub marks which they wanted to correct. They had the work performed by a high end local body shop. I have the shop's invoice which shows only superficial re-spraying to have occurred, no replacement parts or "body" work performed. The car is located in Southern Massachusetts but happy to help arrange shipping. Not a ton of comps for a low-mileage '13 M-Sport 6MT out there. Closest I found was a 65k mile Lemans Blue car which sold for $22k: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=2004941 I love the Alpine White, but I would also place a premium on Lemans Blue. Mine has 15k less miles. Folks prefer the N52 over the N51 (I'm not in total agreement on that, as I think the SULEV warranty coverage makes up for any perceived delta between the two engines). Weighing all that, I'm going to set my car at $21,000. Clean title in hand. I haven't been as active on these forums over the last decade as I've moved into the Porsche world, but please check my iTrader reviews for my past transactions here. Thanks for looking

Don't mean to deviate from the post and it might not even be relevant but your username has me wondering, are you a Volvo guy? Edit: nevermind, just read your signature and it answered my question. Former T-5R Gul Yellow owner? Very cool!

I had the sedan, like the below pic. Great sound, big turbo lag, but great top end pull once it spooled up. Impossible to put the power down through the front wheels. You just couldn't keep the front pointed straight when you got on it. Torque steer like you wouldn't believe. Fun car though.
