DRL issue
Purchased a new set of H8 bulbs for my DRL and went to change them today. Came across this. The driver side is completely destroyed, almost like it exploded. The bulb wasn't burnt out so I wiggled it around and somehow it still works. Definitely need to replace this harness but looks like a whole headlight. Now the passenger side is completely fine and looks brand new but the bulb does not work. I tried a brand new bulb and still nothing. I'm completely stumped. Do I need a new pair of headlights?!

Were the bulbs in the DRL sockets the stock spec bulbs or a different spec with a whiter/brighter bulb? Looks to me there was too much current draw causing the harness failure.
