I would suspect he is creating a general alignment of the two curves by overlapping the two DISA humps as they happen at the same RPM. It does not compare HP, but rather compares power curves.

Looks to be, yes, but I'm confused by what the slopes would mean if the hp numbers aren't correlated but rpm is. It's good to see the shapes are the same though, at least generally and maybe that's the point, dunno.

Understood, thanks for generating the overlay. Normalizing the slopes and overlaying at rpm points makes sense now for a qualitative comparison. AFR plots would be more helpful but those are hard to come by most of the time.

Yep. I haven't generated one with BMWLogger yet, not that it'll make any sense separated from the dyno of course. Once the PT-CAN connection is fixed I can log acceleration and rpm on the DL1 and correlate it with Lambda from BMWLogger via matching rpm during the same run. And that won't correlate with the dyno either. But then what would?
