The engine weighs a lot, and when you turn the wheel, with soft stock mounts, the engine takes a quick second to move and set in a position, so it makes the weight transfer in the front end a little wonky. Solid motor mounts hold the engine in-place so weight transfer occurs almost instantly.

Does RTD make a DSSR connector for n52? I didnt see it on their websites.

And sorry if this been asked - did you notices any changes in vibrations or noise with AKG motor mount and the solid transission mounts
I got the DSSR from AKG, and I agree 100% with what @chris_flies said about the Trans and Motor Mount upgrades you the harder durometer. There will be more noise but it's definitely livable!

Makes total sense. Thanks for the explanation.

Belt and Pulleys Replaced along with a new OFHG, Fresh NGK's and Coil Packs and she's running like a champ again!!! Holding off on the VCG until the spring when I install the MILVs and maybe an Exhaust Cam if one finally comes out for the engine...

Nice.

I did my Milvs a few months ago and they make a dramatic difference below 4K rpm.

I rented the spring removal tool. With the money you get back from returning your old supports, it almost pays for it.

It makes changing them out so much easier!

Any chance you could post some video clips of her? Would love to hear the exhaust on it.

Looks beautiful!

Dyno video incoming very soon when the shop gets some free time... Very curious what she makes before doing the MILVS and BPC tune. Still currently on the AA tune. Having a difficult time passing OBD emissions at the moment due to an EVAP error (No CEL and not affecting drivability what so ever) that is driving me cRaZy. Studio RSR Cage is in production and the rear end has been GUTTED. Debating to do an Carbon Sunroof Delete (Color Matched to Space Grey of course...) for the sake of weight reduction and lowing the center of gravity even more.

I'm wondering if there are some diy's on milv installation. Including the use of any cheater tools to make it easy. I've seen some short clips on YouTube but need something step by step to be comfortable.

Shocking! Where are you going to list it? If you sell it with all the upgrades, I think we'll see a record price for a 128i.

Buyers can be fickle. The 128i isn't collectible enough to warrant exorbitant prices just for being a low-mileage unmolested example...yet. Enthusiasts are buying them strictly to drive and enjoy. Shred's car is one of the best-equipped 128i that I've seen for someone who enjoys driving an E82.

GLWS! Such a well spec'd car, very tasteful! I've always wondered what a nicely modified 128i would go for.
