I know we've went over this before, but on my 2010 the Xenon blacklines were plug in play. Everything works as they should. I tried halogen blacklines prior and the DRL's and running lights didn't work properly.

That's the rear fog lights I'm pretty sure
My rear fog lights are still functional and that's where they light up

Ah so I see now
You've got two running lights I reckon it would look better if you could get it coded to only use the LED as running lights but either way at least you got them working! Nice job

I suppose if one could code out the running lights all together and find a 12 V source for the LEDs.

Man blacklines are nice. One of the first mods I did to the car. I still had the dealer temp tags on.

Don't think it's going to happen on a halogen car unless the driving/tail light portion of the stop/tail can be coded out as I mentioned above.

Pretty sure I can figure something out that won't need coding...

I'll certainly pass it on, if I do...but I don't want any other lights on with the LEDs.

On non black cars the CF winglet on the rear is a pretty big difference too.

Factory offset stripe is definitely the most visually striking thing I've done.

Yep you're right.. Most cosmetics on a black car are pretty subtle.

Anyway, aside from the fact that blacklines look awesome, hopefully some of you got a good idea how to make these work. It's definitely worth it!

MY LCI tails arrived today (they are COOL!!!!!!!)

I've been playing around with them, here's what I came up with:

Do this if you want the LCD bars on at night, and NO other lights on...the LCD bars will work as brake lights too:

There are 2 connectors: a 3-wire with only 2 wires (outboard connector) and a 6-wire with only 5 wires (inboard connector)....on the 3-wire connector, open the clip and move the center wire to the unused slot, pin #1. Your LCD's are now on and work as regular nite taillights AND brake lights, and the bulb that was on before is now off, no bulb-out warning. VERY nice! However, there are still 2 other bulbs still on, one of which is also an additional brake light. This is what I did with those...no laughing, please...remove the 4 bulb holder that has the 6-pin connector...now, paint those bulbs with black paint...use a hi-temp paint, preferably exhaust paint, but at least engine paint...rough the bulb up a bit with some fine emory...give it 2 coats....do NOT paint the 2 bulbs that are the back-up light and the orange turn signal.

Now you have no bulbs messing up your beautiful LCD bars, and everything works....sweet!

How did you open the 3 wire clip? is there a mechanism? And yes you are right, they are cool!!
