Have the humming circulation sound inside cabin

This is not the ECU fan that I have read a lot about. It's not coming from my glove box area. Its a different kind of noise. I can hear it over my talk radio when sitting at lights. It has a rythm to it..

brrrrrrrrrr .... brrrrrrrrrr ... brrrrrrrrrr ... etc

I'm going to have to start looking deeper and soon and considering warranty work. I want to track it down first. If the car has an electric water circulation device thats what it might sound like. But when i open the door with car running, i can't hear it at all. I need the quiet of the cabin to hear it.
