Basically it is the software that Alpina uses for their modified n54 cars. Your transmission software gets flashed with the Alpina software, which results in faster, smoother shifts in S and less lag on downshifts in S and Manual modes. You can also see what gear you are on on the display screen on D and S modes. That's pretty much what it does. I am not a coder so I can't go into specifics on how it was found.

Local coder. Takes about 20-30 minutes and you are done.

did you need to buy the flash separatly and then have it coded in? If so how much did it cost and where did you get it from?

I have done it, it will work fine the dinan flash.

Yeah, I did it myself (flashed a few cars now), but WinKFP should not be used unless you are experienced, because it is a lot more dangerous than NCS Expert. I searched the web for 48.1, you should be able to locate it if you google it.

If you have a tune, you just need to set the map to 0 or turn it off before you flash.
