Good find Fleet .

The Individual package looks good as usual ... a Ruby Black exterior, Individual Steering wheel and Rust Brown Merino leather interior would have been great on my car

What's cool is that they say the iPod can now be integrated and operated via the steering wheel buttons ... (see the last page of the Price List document)..... I need to get myself an iPod adapter soon, since Santa didn't play fair .

Now imagine if I had just bought the M sport, I would be furious I didn't get an individual...haha...you can't win.

Any pics of this individual steering wheel? Is it like the M sports one?
Looking good I say...

It is interesting that it's come out so soon....I thought they would save this sort of thing to spruce it up in yr 2 or 3 of production

M Sport is better I think

You just get the colors and interior with the individual, no m sport bumpers ect ect

Here is the interior, exterior and wheel of the individual

All prices i quote are converted to USA Dollars

A E90 325i in the USA is only about 60 % of the cost of one here

Fuel equivalent to USA 91 octane is about $3.12 per US gallon

A loaf of bread is around $0.80

A tin of Coca Cola averages around $0.80 in supermakets

A 330i is more than the yearly salary of someone that has recently qualified as the equivalent of a CPA ( certified acountant ) in the USA ( this entails 4 years of univerity study and 3 years of training in the auditing profession )

The consolation for us early adopters is that the options and packages were "cheaper" compared to now.

Yes, those who buy now have a wider choice on options and packages, but that comes at a hefty price.

Even if you buy your car in the last year of production after it has gotten all the updates, BMW will come up with an even better package in the next Exx, and you would wonder why you didn't just wait for the new car ....yep, you can't win, no matter which way you look at it .

I'm sure they will still update the Individual Package in about 2 years or so... probably with a revised Aerodynamic M package as they did with the E46.

In the E46, they offered Individual packages A, B, C, D, E, F and G. These packages offered different combinations selected from Individual paint, Individual Nappa, Individual Alcantara, M Sports Pack.

No, You misunderstood me... i'd like to know YOUR prices for those items. Not a conversion to $US.

I'll explain later.

Yea, I've loved driving my car over the past few months..and I really did push the budget...pushing in some extra options as the dealer gave me a hint of discount - so I wouldn't have been able to spec these options anyways, and if I did...I would have left out something I have now...and I love the way my car is spec'd.

It still sort of has an "individual" feel - with the 2 tone interior...I'm sure you feel the same thrill30? The lemon reminds me of Champagne leather, just we have dakota as apposed to merino...ahh...you can't have everything.

Meanwhile...i really want to go test drive the new 2.0l Z4 - because if it has some getup and go...(more than the 320i) - I could seriously consider it...I'd love a Z4.

Same here... I would have been forced to leave some options out... but I just can't see which one I could have left out.... everything I took is worth it... except maybe that removable tray in the trunk ... but it's part of the Luggage Compartment package, so I couln't leave it out as I really wanted the Luggage nets in the boot/trunk.

The Z4 2.0i should be quicker than a 320i, but I suspect you might still prefer your 320d... since by now you are used to that 330Nm of torque.

The Z4 2.0i should be quicker than a 320i, but I suspect you might still prefer your 320d... since by now you are used to that 330Nm of torque.
Now you got an idea...how about a 2.0d Z4.

The main attraction for the 2.0 Z4 is the R325 000 price...which isn't bad at all :-) Obviously, it would sky rocket once you start making it nice...like adding Xenons and the like.

I'd still like to test drive one...just for the feeling!

On further look - it's not even really worth it. Basic radio, no cd prep, basic aircon...really stripped down. (I'm still going to test drive it, so I can drive a Z4 (and pretend I am going to buy it) YAY)

- Anything is possible, seeing that Europe has an E46 Convertible 320Cd.
- Yep, the problem with the base price is that you add a few options and then you start wondering if the calculator is working fine, as you see the price skyrockets  .

I'm sure it will be fun to toss it around bends ... but as you said, the 2.0 Z4 is not worth it at that price.

For the fun of it, I would test-drive the new Z4 M... just to get a feel of that masterpiece 3.2 litre engine.

Irish car prices are INSANE!!!

You should all be really happy you dont have to buy in Ireland.

E90 320 i SE base price €44050

Grey leather €2460
Titanium Silver €1075
Star Spoke Style 155 7Jx16 €475
Sports Leather Steering Wheel €210
Rain Sensor (def needed in Ireland) €175
Delivery charges €950

Total Cost of car €49400 or $58500 or R372,250 for a 1995cc engine. Its insane! But I went ahead with it anyway, there is no way to import cars because the government will tax it until the value is the same if you had bought it in Ireland. It makes the UK look cheap which is an achievement in its own right.

That pricing is daylight robbery .
Here in South Africa, €49400 or R372 000 would get you a 330i or 330d with Dakota leather, plus Professional Navigation... you would still have some change to pay for metallic paint.

Yep, our prices are relatively high, but I guess things could have been a lot worse.
