My new wheel is in, I should be able to pick up my 135 this afternoon. And it seems I have a new neighbor with a 135. Can't wait to meet them!

Got a step in the right direction on my starter issue; had code A0C1 in CAS. Seems like that points to a starter issue.

I replaced the starter back in June of last year...

After almost 200k miles of Maryland and Virginia winters, it's entirely possible. However, I should lose all power to the engine, or get some horrific misfire when it does it if the ground strap does break the circuit, but it doesn't do that. It simply doesn't start on the first try, but starts just fine on the second.

Possibly a bad relay, and that's attached to the starter (ugh). It starts up just fine after shutting it off and turning it back on again. But, if I park it, go into a store, then come out, it has the same issue again...

A later year e60 530 w/ the 3.0 non turbo motor could be a nice daily driver. They are light weight cars & don't weigh much more than the e82. With a few mods it would make plenty of power for DD work.

What prompted the change? Too many tix? Or he wants to drive it on track?

How about a used Golf?
It was a 2008. Space Grey, 6MT, Sport Package. It was a perfect spec if I were to pick an E60.

He wants to get me into a car that won't require a trailer to move back and forth across the country for school. He also wants to drive a RWD car on the track, and wants my younger sister to learn a thing or two about car control as well. I have zero tickets (knock on wood) so far. I don't think it's actually going to happen, though...
If it's the V8 I'd recommend you pass, or before you buy read up on the e60 insues and issues and issues.

A few have asked in the past what my usual ride height is with the air ride. Here's a snap of my cruising to a show today at my normal driving height. And one from the show for a bonus

low135 car really looks great man. Digging the red/gold. Have you found an option for a lightweight hardtop a la what Megan did for the S2k? That would really seal the deal.

I've yet to find anyone making a hard top for the E88. I've tossed around a bunch of ideas for one. It may end up happening one year but I've got a lot more I want to do before something like that. Realistically, it wouldn't be terribly hard to copy the softtop shape and structure into a hardened form. Would be really cool to have a one off custom hardtop
