Aftermarket IC fitting
Will i have fitting issues if i get a aftermarket IC for the bmw tii performance front bumper. Or will it be the same fit as stock bumper. I know somwbody had a prob. Fitting the HPF Intercooler on there bmw tii perfomance bumper

Well what's the TII bumper?? Also it really depends on the IC too. You didn't post enough information of what you're looking to do for a response.

Yeah that was me. It just involved more cutting than I was thinking it would. But I eventually got it to fit. The clip on the inlet side of the IC is a bitch to get on though...do you already have the BMW Performance bumper (Tii type?)

I don't know for sure...but I suspect that you will have to do "some" cutting no matter what IC you get.

HPF requires cutting of the grill on the bumper but not the bumper itself, at least on the stock bumper. There are some tabs the hang off the back of the grill near the end of the open part of the mesh that have to be shortened by about an inch. The Performance bumper may fit right on since the grill is different? Maybe a similar trimming will be needed, but that's about it.

^^^NO....the outer grill doesn't need to be cut at all on the performance bumper...it is just all the plastic bracing on the inside of the bumper that needs to be trimmed. On the stock bumper there is also minimal trimming.
