First page has lots of updates now. Sorry for the delay, I know what its like waiting. Its 2 am here and I will look back through the posts and answer your questions tomorrow at some point. Internet is available in places but was so slow and wouldnt stay connected. Tonight we are in a hotel with an absolute blazing connection, that we may attempt to upload some video.

The car overall is fantastic and we are REALLY enjoying driving it.

Day 1 - 120 kms
Day 2 - 675 kms
Day 3 - 440 kms
Day 4 - 850 kms
Total so far 2085 kms

Oh and how do you like this parking job last night in Marseille. Parked away from other cars, later on had to go grab some stuff from the car to see this.

Thankfully they didn't touch the car, was a PITA to get into the car as I parked the passenger side tight to the bushes to leave space. Ah well, I am off to bed now.

If the OP takes the time to take pictures of his car while on ED, and post them on the board, he can write all he want about his vacation.
If you're not interested, just skip reading those paragraps

MNavigator: quite a trip you're making. Can you tell us more about the upcoming Spa day?

But they sure know how to park their cars!!!!!!

They're famous for it

You just have to give them credit for having some of the most beautifull driving roads ( it's just that nobody's actually drives on them) do

Some people...what? Just want to hear more about the car as I am sure most of us do. The story is wonderful but not what we are waiting to hear. Calm down.

We discussed what we were there for and he instantly said that there are no parts. What do you mean no parts? We asked. Apparently no dealer in France stocks M series parts (ie: oil filters / maintenance parts) for the cars, and the parts are ordered in as required for services when booked. Make note of this if you plan on doing a similar trip. We pointed to the large monitor behind him where our name was clearly displayed for the 9am service, and said we had booked this a weeks ago with explicit instructions that we are bringing in a 1M. Long story short there was nothing we could do there as an oil change without changing the filter may cause issues in regards to warranty down the road. He and the other staff were ever helpful in contacting a few other dealers and eventually we settled on another French M specialist dealer that we will need to visit Monday morning before heading to SPA. Not the greatest way to have your plans ruined but the staff was more than helpful in getting our new plans underway. We thanked Michelle by letting him take the car for a quick drive, and I’m sure he has made the rest of the service crew jealous in the process. We had a quick photo session with everyone before heading on our way.

We skipped our originally planned stop in Dijon and headed straight for Paris. Found a hotel with secure underground parking and good internet :-)

We are going to be here till our appointment till Monday.
shit !!!, it's my dealer!!! and Michel it's my seller

he didn't phone to me it's a pity

Any more info on the KW coilovers for the 1M. The 1M looks a lot nicer lowered than comparing to the original... Waiting for my 1M to be delivered in Singapore, and I'm told it will be available on the first week of May...

That's exactly what I thought - are you sure it wasn't the lamb revving? Sounded too deep for the 1M?!

Can't be 100% sure but for me that match with the 1m behavior. Again I can be wrong and only MNavigator can confirm.
