FS: 3 Stage DISA Intake Manifold with valves
Clean Intake Manifold with DISA valves. It's an upgrade for the 3-series N52 in 325 and 328 form...I figured I'd offer to the 1-series crowd as well...128i to 130i equivalent. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...035058&page=74 Boxed and ready to ship. I'll take paypal and you'll have a tracking number right away. Asking $375. Last edited by johnmyster; 05-04-2018 at 09:41 AM.. |

Word from the e90 forums from those that have dissected the N52 328 file vs the 330 is that it still has some gain (the 328 MSV80 program does actuate the valves) but is not as much gain as getting the 330i flash or a custom non-factory tune. I'm not sure if anyone has dyno'd the various scenarios.
In my case, the 255 hp 330i flash was very reasonably priced and was performed remotely by BimmerGeeks. I'd contact them and see if there is any support for a 130 flash, or if the 330 european program for the N52 with three stage will do the job. It's "only" a stock BMW program, but it fully utilizes the three stage. OEM spec is 255 hp vs 230 hp. The price to get it done was far below the other "tuning" options and could be viewed as an intermediate step until a custom tune can be done to support other mods. This fits an N52... the 128i has the same motor as a 328i/330i...

I have not installed the manifold yet but have had dialog with OP Johnmyster who used them and Chris from Bimmerlabs. They provide the flash you just need to purchase the cable. They will also flash remotely for you if you are not comfortable performing it yourself.
5/5/18 update. I installed the manifold myself and about a week later had time to install the flash. In hindsight probably would have paid a shop to install the manifold just because some of the hose connections and tight spaces were not my favorite use of my time. Bimmergeeks started out responding to my emails but then when I tried to set up a time to install remotely never responded. Chris from Bimmerlabs was incredibly helpful though. I used the Bimmergeeks cable along with the files found on Bimmergeeks and flashed it myself. Getting the manifold from Johnmyster and the cable/files from Bimmerlabs is the way to go. Bimmergeeks did my flash with bimmerlabs conversion files last June (328 to 330.) I've sold manifolds to several e82 users, so I know from feedback that bimmergeeks can/has also done the 128 to 130 conversion. (The stock 130i file they were working from is 260 hp. The various N52B30 engines only differ in intake/tune. Same pistons, same head, same cams...just intake and a tune.)
If you make an account at bimmerlabs it'll show what files are available at this time. Contacting bimmergeeks to quote/schedule the flash would be the next step unless you are comfortable doing it yourself. |

Thanks for the info. BimmerGeeks hasn't responded to a single inquiry I've made with them regarding this flash, so I'm a bit hesitant to give them a dime.
