New water-pump, no heat?
The dealer put in a new water pump a few days ago.
Weather here hasn’t been great so I haven’t driven it much since but one thing I’ve noticed is that I’m not getting much heat. I have turn the temp all the way up to like 78 degrees to get noticeable heat. I used to get heat at 63 degrees now not. Is something wrong?

Sounds like the system wasn't completely bled.

Follow the steps outlined here in this youtube vid. The nice thing about these electric water pumps is you can run them with out the engine being on. With the engine cool or warm, have the hood open and the radiator cap off so you can see into the expansion tank.
Next, insert the key, keep your foot off of the brake and then hit the start button. After that, hold the gas pedal down for ~10 seconds. That should activate the water pump. Go look in the expansion tank and you should see water be cycled into the tank. Watch for spits and sputters. Once those clear, you should be good to go... |

Thanks. I'm just taking it back to the dealer to fix.
They screwed it up in the first place.

Follow up on this.
They kept the car for a few days after I complained of no heat after water pump replacement. They ultimately declared the car fine and sent me on my way. Weather has been bad here so I haven't driven the car much since then. Maybe a couple times a week around town. So yesterday was nice and I brought it to work (~35 miles each way). I went to lunch and on my way back I get all kinds of warning lights and the car is starting to overheat in the parking lot. So I get it towed to the local dealer (not the same dealer that did the work however). This morning they look at it and tell be the lower radiator hose was never attached correctly after the water pump was replaced so all the coolant leaked out! Grrrrr.

Geez, sorry about this! What a waste of your time!
Generally, if there's no coolant in the system, it's not considered a good thing...

He joked that this a pretty easy problem to diagnose At least they didn't charge me (this was a different dealer than the one that did the waterpump). I've been driving it and it seems ok so far. Still annoying having to get rides to and from a dealer an hour away from home because of course they don't have any loaners on short notice.

Turn off the climate control and manually set the heat. It's hard to detect changes in temperature with the climate control, since it's quite efficient and subtle in operation.
