Liteblox Batteries
Have any of you heard of or used these? They look fantastic—and although they look pricey, look at the weight savings you're getting. Not many mods you can do for that price to reduce that much weight.
Made in Germany, built by hand. Has an NFC app that you can use to interact with the battery! https://en.liteblox.de/shop/liteblox...acing-battery/ Thoughts? |

I'm definitely interested; even though my battery seems OK it is the original and with this I think might get 10 years? Also note that the prices include VAT which we won't have to pay. We should buy the charger too.

Group buy
Dear 1M Addicts!
we just came across this thread via our website analytics and I hope it is ok to give a short reply in the following... First of all thanks for your interested in our lightweight products - engineered and made in Germany. We truly appreciate & furthermore it seems, that we have one satisfied customer in your community already --> http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1309700 Since there will be a sea freight dispatch to US in early June, I am pretty sure that we can manage a potential group buy on economical cost. For any further coordination on this please contact us directly via email and feel free to ask any technical questions on the LiFePO4 battery technology directly in this thread. All the best from lake of Constance, Germany Frederic |

Thanks Frederic, appreciate the comment! That would great if we can do a group buy.
Some questions: Which liteblox do you recommend for our cars? What else can you tell us about the battery? How does the NFC work and how does it help us? How does it compare to other competitors like Braille? What email can we reach you at? |

Dear Arvinz,
thanks for your interest and please see my reply in the following: Which liteblox do you recommend for our cars? For BMW we would recommend our model LB19XX (tracktool in seasonal use) or LB26XX (daily driven car / all-year operation). Furthermore on cars with Efficient Dynamics as well as for the current F-Series cars, you should use our model LB26XX, since they come with a strong energy management setup while running. What else can you tell us about the battery? to much too tell for one forum please therefore visit our English LITEBLOX website... How does the NFC work and how does it help us? our current LITEBLOX GEN3 models provide an NFC-interface for surveillance, diagnostics and remote maintenance in realtime How does it compare to other competitors like Braille? first of all our LITEBLOX have been developed from scratch as a full substitution for automotive battery, built by hand in our manufactury, with guarantee for outstanding quality by premium materials - furthermore: - lightest comprehensive product available - latest A-class cells form A123 systems - intelligent in house developed BMS electronics - innovative housing concept to enhance cell life - integrated brackets - extended customers support (proof while reading this... ) ...and much more advantages on our website. What email can we reach you at? please use the request form on our website Hope this helps and please feel free to ask, if you have any more questions... Frederic |

One more question: Is your battery compatible with common battery tenders (CTEK 12V 4.3 amp, for example?) If not, will you also offer your charger/tender in the group buy? Thanks!

sorry for the late reply! Our LITEBLOX can be run on hardly and type of automotive alternator, but should be maintained using our special charger to prevent damages and performance loss. Moreover our products are equipped with an intelligent electronics which is the interface to the alternator and provides continuous cell surveillance and balance charging if necessary, so you only have to maintain the LITEBLOX in case of deep- / overcharge... |
