Pic request: Deep Sea Blue with Blacklines

As title says - looking to see if anyone has a pic of a deep sea blue 1er with blacklines. Trying to justify the >$300 price tag

Do it. They look fantastic. Subtle, but striking. Probably the best $300 I've spent.

Thanks and yeah I don't know why I keep trying to blur them. I get a new plate after every winter anyways....

Deep Sea Blue is one of the best colors in BMW's repertoire. I'd be cool to see an F80 or F82 Individual finished DSB next to Tanzanite and San Marino. And while we're at it, I'd like to see the new Snapper Rocks blue next to Long Beach Blue and Atlantis Blue.

Do the non-blackline LCI's sell for anything to recoup some cost?

I think blackslines look good but... its barely noticeable. I'd have a very hard time justifying it. Need to see it in person I guess.

I think for people who have an LCI 1er and don't want to spend the money it may not be worth it since the taillights are so similar, with the blacklines just being darker. But for us pre-LCI guys it's a no-brainer imo because the lights are very different, as can be seen in my above link.

I love the original taillights. The car looks so modern with the straight fiber-optic lines. I saw a vert yesterday with the LCI taillights and I'm sticking with these ones. In the dark with LCI looks like the old corolla lights

Was just going to say that some people prefer the pre-LCI look and that's their prerogative. To each their own, and, you saved a bunch of money. lol

I can't wait till spring arrives. This thread is such a tease.

Edit: I thought more people would have posted their blacklines too.

Here's a couple pictures I took when I installed mine.
Coming from the pre-LCI lights I think these are a huge improvement.

I'm wrestling with this choice right now, too. I love the blacklines in the daylight, but the LCI's at night. Argh!

Peace... Mack

Since you already have LCI taillights, I’d personally stick with those. They match the headlights better. I wish there was a blackline headlight option, too.
