When I bought my aussie built ford falcon, it had aftermarket 20’s on it. it looked great for sure..... but in Australia, we have pot holed roads. 20’s under those conditions were a night mare.

I now have18’s and the car still looks good, but so much more enjoyable on our crappy roads.

if your roads are smooth.....got for 19's. other wise 18's will ensure your comfort, while still looking good.

There may be others in this forum that have 19s that live near you. Wont hurt to contact them for a real world NY opinion.

19’s may just be ok? 18 for sure are good. 20’s are out of the question, for life…… for me.

they look like 19s but several companies make 18" versions of them. I have the 19s and in SoCal with the horrible roads, I would recommend someone going with 18s. I love firm ride. I'm not one of those senstive types that complains about firm ride. The issue is that the car is tearing itself apart from the washboard roads and potholes.

I bought a set of 18s for autocrossing and put them on my 1 series to break the tires in. I was suprised how much more composed the car was. The 359 is one of the best looking wheels bmw ever made and you are lucky there are inexpensive 18" replicas from VMR and others.

I like the look of 18's better -- style is a little meatier of a tire these days.
