A 3mm spacer should clear that up, but I'd first want to be sure there isn't something else fishy going on there.

the rim is closer to the strut then the tire is. i cant wait to go the shop this thursday so then can fender roll the rear and also check to see whats going on in the front . maybe my car needs an wheel alignment or camber adjust?

How bad is the rubbing on the rear? both sides?

its not that bad of a rub in the rear i get it only on the right side it hardly rubs only on dips. but thats not whats really bothering me, its the front rim being so dam close to the strut and every time im taking fast hard right turns i hear a wobbling sound

i just noticed that the right rear side is sitting down more then the left side. the right side is the side it rubs a little bit

Anyone have pics with ET50 rears w/ 255 tires? wonder if this spaces out the wheel enough, or if spacers would be need to make the rear more flush

Hi Have just ordered my V710 19in with
Michelin Super sport
235/35/19
255/30/19

I am happy to roll the guards, though was thinking that with the 235 up front if I need to roll the guards all round, or if at all as I have read that guys have this set up and say they get no rubbing at all!

agree, the stock BMW rims are +49, so +45 is a tragic bound to happen. I think +50 would be safe even w. a 255 tire.

You end up having issues with +50 with 245 or nah. I am not too worried about curb rash. I am looking at +45 too and can't figure out what to do. Mine isn't lowered right now but I don't want to end up having issues even though they will be 18"

I have a plus 50 rear and 45 front.. Mine is lowered 1.5 on springs and the fenders are rolled and pulled some.. However, I have had three people in the car and no rubbing with 19s..

The springs will give you some neg camber so when the wheel hits a bump it will shoot in the finder not up at it..

Fender rolling only cost 120 for all four corners..

Hope that helps..

You shouldn't have any issues with ET50 and a 245 tire. We've had plenty of customers running that rear offset with 255 tires on stock suspension that haven't reported any major problems. If you run 245s you should be good.
