Installed JB1 this morning
No install issues and nothing broken. The instructions are pretty accurate, you just gotta take your time. Probably took me almost a good hour end to end. The harness clips came out easy and clipped in nice and solid like original. You just gotta be gentle. No check engine lights or problems since I had let the car sit a while before I started.
As for power, I can't really tell. I mean I had barely tested the stock power fully yet. I *think* I feel more power, particularly in the upper rpm range? It seems to pull longer than before. Suppose it could be 25whp/30wtq I guess. It was a no brainer for $99 though. Easily removable probably in 30 mins next time. I guess I can look forward to worse gas mileage since I'll be testing it a bit the next few days. |

you guess it's faster is not a reaction you
should have when you're chipping a turnocharged vehicle.

Its nice just knowing its there in case I ever need it. I don't beat on the car too often anyway. Its probably the fastest car I've ever owned now, and I've had about 30 in my lifetime.
