Wheel fitment questions for you wheel gurus
I dont track my car at all so i'm OK with running stock tire sizes if needed. How hard would it be to run a 18x8 +34 front and 18x8.5 +37 on stock 215/245 tire size. I know matt schnell sells a 18/12mm spacer kit that whesto has ran on stock wheels and they claim no rubbing while running h&r springs which brings it to +31 front and +40 rear. I'm assuming with the wheels i want the front would be border line since the actual rim size is going up .5inch but the rear is staying the same width but offset is going up 3mm compared to the fitment of oem wheels with the 18/12mm spacers .

I think it would work on stock tire widths. The front concerns me a little.

Fronts are about 5mm more aggressive then our 8.5 +45 front setup we recommend but with the 215 tire, you should be ok...
The rears are the same as our 9.5 +50 but the 245 tire will definitely balloon slightly on a 8.5" wheel so you may need some fender rolling. -Charles@VMRWheels

correct but on a 9.5 rim the tire is stretched so you have more room to work w/ but if the tire is not stretched, then not only is the rim sticking out further but so is the tire

we have tried 18/10 combo on stock wheels and run flat tires (18" set up) as well as the 15/10 combination.
the specs that you are trying to put on are sort of the borderline cases and they will work with with some "massaging". you can put them on and if you do rub a little, get an alignment and work in a little bit more negative camber where needed (you won't have to do much). Of course, this is all under the assumption that you really want to fit those wheels on your car. Every car is different even if they are the same model when it comes to borderline fitment like this. There is always going to some trial and error involved.
