Differences between Eibach and ECS 28mm sway??
Looking at both options but can't really seem to find any differences between them except the Eibach bar sets inward slightly in the center where the ECS bar is straight across. Looking for anyone who has either of these or simply knows the answer. Atm the Eibach bar is $20 less

Sorry to answer your question with another question; are you sure you need a bigger front bar?

Hmm..not quite the responses I was looking for.
Sure I could ask ECS, but I figured I'd ask the non-biased resource that's usually fast and on point right HERE! Honestly, I really don't understand rhetorical questions replying to a simple question thread.. I figured they were both very similar, as they are in price. Just thought there were a few of you on here that may have had them installed with some insight? And yes I'm fairly certain as most of us can attest too that I do need a thicker bar without a chink in the center. But who knows, that's the point of these threads..convince me otherwise |

If you don't trust them try HPA, I've always believed Harold to give great advice and it's clear they've built and raced 1-ers. Or get hold of both and compare. |

Suspension tuning is a bitch to get right. I spent years fiddling with each part.
What about your current handling characteristics and in what scenario are you trying to fix with the sway bar? If not sure then it's likely ineffable and I'd suggest buying the cheapest used 27-29+mm bars you can find and switching them out until one makes you happy. Hard to help without more info. If your question is more related to "how does this specific part compare..." Call the vendor, if they can't answer your question don't buy it. Just my 0.02. Cheers!

Specifically I'm just looking to reduce the sway and hop in turn and tighten steering feel overall. I know there's several diff bars available and most of them are like $350+ which is ridiculous when there's these two bars which are both more than large nuff, so I was just curious if anyone actually had experience with either or both and if there's any actual difference or just looks is all.
I'm not looking to spend that much on a new bar as I'm not busting 4 G's ripping corners at the track, etc. But I do know that this car has some slacking suspension parts such as the fsb, shocks and control arm bushings. It's not something I need to upgrade, but I do feel like the bar and perhaps the dinan plates as well would significantly improve the steering feel and performance overall. |

You´ll fell the sway bars difference much more than the control arms, camber plates, arms, etc. Been there.
But I started with the rear only, the car was into a lot more oversteer, it was a lot o fun, but I was almost 2 seconds slower on the track that I always run.. Had to improve rear tires, rear camber, etc to solve it.. With the rear+front the car really feels different in corners, a lot more "planted" in the corners, a lot, lot less bodyroll. With only the front sway, I really think it will tend to increase understeer.

FSB will improve tightness feeling in cornering, and the front portion of the car will definitely roll less, but that will result in more understeer. But if you are not experiencing this now, don´t worry.
I first swapped the rear one after my second trackday, cause I felt the car with more tendency to understeer rather then oversteer (which I prefer), even after playing with the alignment. It may be better with only the front sway, depends on the driving style.

Yes but I’m considering possibly going with the KONI actives later on. Atm I’m knee deep in trying to correct my paint fix errors (now repainting whole passenger front fender and hood.)

Squeaking is an easy fix. Smooth bushings and a smooth bar without enough lubrication = squeaks. Rough up the bushings on their inside, throw a little PTFE (plumbers teflon) tape on the bar, add some waterproof grease during install and you'll never have a squeak. Ever.
