Daytime running light problem
My driver side dlr died a few days ago. Went to go replace the bulb with an h8 35w and the connector looks like this from the car. Looks bad to me. What do you guys think?

Dirty or loose connection between the bulb and socket. You need a new socket & hopefully you can get it from a wrecking yard. Maybe someone here has one from an old wrecked car.

The socket is obviously damaged and the connection doesn't look like something that came from the factory... Bad solder joint.

Got a bulb from Bmw dealer and it was yellow/Amber. Replugged the old one and it came back on.. not sure how that worked. So I'm kinda stumped on what to do.

It's not the bulb. Ya the shitty wire insulation BMW (or Valeo I should say) uses. I completely bypassed all the shitty Bmw wiring. Wasn't worth the 1200+ dollars for new ones
