[SOLD] FS: Quaife torque biasing LSD for 125i (and others)

Quaife torque biasing LSD for BMW E2/E87 (and potentially others).

$1,800

I have since upgrade to a 1M so this is no longer required.

Purchased new in March 2017 directly from Kevin Bird at Bird’s Automotive in the UK (international distributor for Quaife LSD for BMW). Professionally fitted and installed by BMS Autohaus in Sydney into my manual 6MT 2010 E82 125i.

The diff gives much improved power transfer and acceleration out of corners. It plants the rear axle and reduces understeer in these vehicles. Recommend to use with M-Sport suspension (which includes a factory rear swaybar). It is so effective at eliminating the e-LSD from activating no coding is required on install. It is also maintenance free for life.

Sold as already professionally fitted inside the E82 125i differential housing. It is an easy job to bolt straight into your equivalent vehicle and the housing may be a direct fit for several other BMW models (e.g. E87 130i, E90 E92 – but I cannot confirm).

The QDF13N internal diff pumpkin is a direct fit for a large number of BMW variants. It has a bolted crown and allows you to run shorter or taller gearing to your existing set up by changing the crown and pinion, for instance installing automatic final drive ratio into you MT for improved accelleration.

It will not fit a 135i MT, nor the 135i DCT.

Fitment guide for the is as follows:

E82
123d Automatic
125i Auto
125i Manual
135i Automatic

130i Manual and Auto

Any warranty remaining on the install and parts?
Were any bearings, seals replaced?

New seals were installed, replaced diff oil. Doubt there was ever an explicit warranty from my from my mechanic for the install but from the Birds Auto website "the Quaife design will work flawlessly with all OE components, will not void your manufacturer's warranty, and comes with its own worldwide lifetime guarantee" , so yes, it does look like it. Has done well less than 10,000 km
