New owner of a VO 1M

Picked up my VO 1M last Saturday. I love the VO color, glad I choose that.

Used an entire tank of gas the next day driving it all over the mountain roads around Warwick, NY (can't stop driving it).

Great car, I like it even better than my 2008 M3, better handling, lighter, twitchy (in a good way). The more I drive it, the more I like it.

Borla exhaust is being installed as we speak. Can't wait to have the sound match the performance.

I have two daughters, 10 and 5 and they fit great in the back. My 5 year old is a real car nut, I guess there is a "Car enthusiast" gene that can be passed on.

Glad to be a member, this car is a keeper.

Glenn

I am just out as a member of a 1M but anyway, welcome! Enjoy it good health. I can tell you that it was painful to watch it leave yesterday.

Borla is a great sounding exhaust; match it with a Maddad mid pipe and you will have a wild beast roaring under your seat.

Made the right call. Exhaust ain't my thing, but I live in an apartment so the stocker borders on loud enough.

Compared to the M3, isn't this car so flipping neutral when rev correctly.

Congrats!

I think the stock exhaust sounds great, but I have N55 midpipes on the way for a little more noise. I did secondary cat delete pipes on my last car (Audi tt-rs) and it made a nice difference, more pops and crackles. Hoping for the same with the 1M.

I bought the car with N55 midpipes and it does sound much better than stock.

Hopefully the N55 Midpipes and the Borla will be a great combo.

Life, wife, Portugal, lack of a very rich father, wrong profession to own a rare car like this one...among other things.

Welcome to the club ... I added a borla and mid pipe to my e46 and it was a good year and a half until the borla opened up to "loud" .....on my 1m I did the mad dad mid pipe and it is perfect mid-loud after six months of breaking in. I doubt the borla will satisfy you if you want really loud ( there is a sticky on exhaust sounds/combos)'.... Great luck with your new toy!
