Sigh. Dumbass reporters. Always screwing up basic facts.

Nice article. It's fascinating to learn that BMW are slotting V6's into their cars these days.

Has the price gone up? I thought the manual 135i Coupe was listed at $71,400.

Oh, and the N54 twin-turbo six is also available in the X6 and 535i (sedan & touring), in addition to four models of the 335i mentioned in the article (sedan, touring, coupe & convertible).

Jeez, how difficult would it have been for this bloke to get his facts straight? On the other hand, I've gotta say I had the same trouble with catching the footrest when operating the clutch pedal - even with very narrow driving shoes on.

Me too, but it doesn't happen as often now that I'm getting used to the position of the clutch.

You guys should try reading the crap that passes as a "car review" in the Quest newspapers.

They read like all the writer did was pick up a brochure, there's nothing to them.

I actually rang Quest's editors here in Brisbane up and said "no disrespect intended, but your car reviews are crap and I reckon I could do better. Will you let me have a go at writing for you?"

The editor laughed and said thanks for the offer, but they basically get sent the content from News corp. and have no say in it.

LCT increase is now in BMW's prices. Don't think it is still law though.

Good and bad points made in that article, I suppose relish the good and put the bad down to ones personal opinions, which is fair enough...and yes the mistake not picked up by editing on the engine type...

I also would like to know the answer to Guran's question - has the price increased ??

Some reporters start talking cylinders in my RX-8 hehe.

I am sure it is a slip of his pen (eh... keyboard).

Oh, thanks AussieRacer, I missed your post above

I suppose it's correct to assume we'll see periodic price rises anyway as time goes on...
