Doh! If it was a manual with heated seats, we'd be talkin'.
Good to see a car with a reasonable asking price. Good luck with the sale. (You might want to vacuum the interior and put up a new pic tho :-P) |

lemme just ask you 1 question and hopefully you can be honest. have you driven a 135 with the auto trans yet?? if you have and STILL prefer the manual thats fine, but i think everyone should at least give the step a chance. it is by far the best auto trans car i have driven and probably ever will drive. hell, i drove a 08 335 step and didn't think it shifted quite as nice but maybe it was just in my head. |

Actually, the first 135i I drove was an auto. I'll be honest: the AT in the 135i rivals most other ATs I've driven, but I get just so much pleasure from the three pedal driving and surfing through the gears that it's a requirement for me.
Good luck on the sale. It should move pretty quickly at that price. |

You must not have driven an Acura auto with padels cause I have one at it shifts terribly. The auto 135i has shown to shift quicker than manual. |

post #9. shifts as fast if not faster than SMG M3. against a manual is no comparison, faster by far. |

Did you want to disclose that you blew up the engine? Buyers might want to know this...

as an active buyer of a 135i i feel that your fs thread is very misleading making no mention of your destroyed engine. I don't car if it was replaced or not it was not mentioned.
Very misleading and very bad karma I have taken the liberity to post the pics and a screen shot of your comment. Sorry very late but I am actively searching for a decent priced 135i and this just grinded my gears |

geezus, good job to the last 2 posters! I was really considering this car when I bought my 135 and I didn't dive deep enough to uncover that engine stuff. I'm sure any potential buyers will thank you as well!

thats not warranty work thats abuse then cover up. Don't try and even play the victim here. Your lucky you were able to scam an engine out of BMW. Now consider the rest of the running gear abused in your adventures. Then you make no mention of it in your sale. You would probaly get a quicker sale if you were honest, people love honest salesmen and a deal goes sour when they find out omitted info.

well just to sum this up your position is that any car that has ever been on any kind of track, road course or drag, has been abused and is therefore not even a viable option as a car to be purchased anymore, am i correct??
i did not scam BMW. they were happy to replace the engine as this was not the only N54 equipped car in the shop with major problems. they have seen 2 other cars with problems just like mine and numerous others with thousands of dollars in warranty work. bottom line is the engine, as great as it drives as proved by numerous awards, is not recieving awards for its reliability. as far as mentioning its replacement, why? just to scare away prospective buyers? the car runs and drives like new, it has a hand full of laps at a track and the engine is newer than when i bought it and has no track time on it. im sorry you don't agree with me on this but frankly you are nothing more than a forum troll, who lurks and makes stupid posts in other peoples for sale threads. |
