Subscribing to this. I'm looking at the Eibachs myself.

I believe the swift springs will be a bit lower than the Eibachs. They are also slightly higher spring rates.

Other than that, you should really consider upgrading your shocks at the same time, running a lowering spring on stock shocks will wear them out faster. Take a look at Bilstein B8 or Koni Sport (Yellow).

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs lower the car 1.2" front and rear while Swift springs lower it 1" front and rear but which once will be more daily comfortable for daily use as for shocks I prefer the Koni s but will see what i will go for

I have the Eibachs as part of the Bilstein B12 kit, I can tell you the car is not 1.2" lower. Based on pictures (do some searches to see), the Swift Spec R springs are a bit lower. The comfort level in my opinion more dependent on the shock choices versus the spring mostly (especially if the spring rates are very similar). Koni FSD shocks are meant to provide good comfort on the road, however they are not meant to run with lowering springs - double check with Koni on that in case they can be used with a lower spring.

Comfort wise which kit of those 2 will be more comfortable?

Really hard to say. Bilsteins in general are very "quick" shocks, so they provide good body control and react quickly, however they have a very characteristic ride to them (I've had a couple of sets over different cars). I like the way they feel....but some can characterize them as a little "harsh" for "sharp" bumps meaning even small sharp bumps you will feel.

From reading other people's reviews, Konis seem to do better with the small harsh stuff. Koni FSD are even more comfortable but less sporty, and I'm not sure if they are meant to work with a lowering spring.

Lastly, tires make a big difference. The runflats are terrible for ride quality, changing to a non runflat tire will give you quite an improvement in comfort.

I have Swifts on my 370z - and on the Z forums, there are pages and pages of great reviews on the Swifts. I use the Swifts with the stock Nissan shocks and the handing/ride is fantastic.

I would like to install them now - but we expect snow here within a month or so. But it will be the first mod come this spring. Looking forward to this... sub'd to this thread as well.

Have used Eibach on my last three cars including the M2 and the 135i.

They lower the car but still keep the feel very close to stock, they don't alter the driving dynamics negatively.

Fantastic - what size tires are you running, and I can't remember your suspension setup? I'm contemplating a 17" track setup for next summer, running B12 setup with Dinan camber plates, and I want to run 245 square if possible. I can clear the front I'm pretty sure, worried about the rear....

EDIT: Ah nevermind, I ogled your car & details in your profile....I see you're running 225 square which makes sense on the fitment/no rubbing, 245 with those wheels offsets will be tough even though I have a mild fender roll in the rear.

Had a set of specR springs before I switched to coils. Love them! Highly recommended IMO.

I'm on Eibach Pro and Koni FSD.
I think it's a good setup for daily use and a bit of light track use. If you're going to do heavy, fast track days ... go with yellows and a heavier spring.

It is comparable to the factory sport suspension but lower. Where the FSD really shines in on really bumpy roads. It loosens up and makes them smooth. I'm gone over washboard roads a few times and it's really amazing what these things can do.

I'm running 245-square on 17x7.5 ET42 wheels all the way 'round. Had to have the rear fenders rolled a bit, but I love the grip so much. It does rub if I have a heavy tool box in the trunk for a track event, but setting it in the back seat fixed that (while presenting its own problems).

I'm on Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Koni Sports. I love my setup, it is SUPER balanced and so good on-track, and makes a great daily.

It's gonna be sketchy when I go back to 225 winter tires

Isn't 245 a bit wide for a 7.5" rim? Are you running R compounds or street tires? I figure since R compounds are typically wider shouldered it would exacerbate the bulge effect on a 7.5" rim. Also - any noticeable steering response issues given the narrow rim to tire width ratio?

No issues. It does have a little bit of a fat tire look to it (which I absolutely love), but the steering feel is so much better than with my previous 225 Ecsta PS31s (now on Firehawk Indy 500s). The grip is phenomenal, which is the whole reason for the large tires.

Thanks - this may be the direction I go then...either a 17x8 or 17.7.5 in ET45 or similar...
