2012 CIC NA update...
I just updated my CIC NA map from 2009 to 2012. I have noticed a lot of map updates where I live. For one it now states " caution restricted access " when I enter my road that leads to a gated development.
The update took about three hours. Plus the download time ( three days )and the hour and a half to burn the DVD+D/DL disk. BMW wants $199 for the FSC code. The disk are no longer listed in the parts department computer. I was told they charged labor for the install time. The labor would have run around $375. The $80 ( Got a few $$ off for having a HAM Radio license, that studying finally paid off ) I spent for the FSC plus the price of three DVD/DL disk, well worth the money. The $$$ I saved will go towards a JB4... When you are installing, if your car turns off you will need to load disk 1 then it will tell you to load 2 in a few seconds. And continue from where it left off. Also, make sure that you burn the files as an image not data. PM me if you need some help. I can PM you back the download link and the contact for the FSC code. Maps
It looks like the ISO links are down. I do not have any mirror for the files.
