No Dinan tune for my car?

I decided I wanted to get the Stage 2 tune from Dinan and set up an appointment with a local shop.
They took my car in and about 20 minutes later came back out and told me that Dinan did not have a tune for my car.
They plugged in and were prompted to call Dinan customer service who told them that there was no tune available for my VIN
Any one ever hear of this?

They still show it on their website:

https://www.dinancars.com/products/s...parts/D900-31T

They still also show on their website you could do it yourself:

Yeah, seeing as how it's only $250 now I thought 'Why not?'
The fellas at the shop seemed just as surprised as me and it almost seemed like the Dinan rep said something about my VIN specifically.
I'm going to reach out to Dinan myself to see if there's any further details, but was curious if anyone had heard of this.

If anyone's interested, I did confirm with Dinan that there was no tune available for my car. Something to do with the DME and them not having a code for it

Check out MHD: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1318862

Probably skip to the end or at least the last few months. Seems they have a work-around for the DME and you don't need to send it in first either.

Dinan's pretty great of course, but I doubt it's actually any better than MHD at this point.

MHD is the new plan, it's just got so many more options to consider!
My only hesitation is that looking through the MHD thread it seems that MT users have a few issues that AT/DCT users don't. I also don't plan on seeking the most power

Hmm, I'm not aware of any issues? I have MT. But I'm not up to date either.

I also haven't looked for much power, I'm on about the least aggressive tune fo the bunch. I have a bigger FMIC, a metal charge pipe, and only run 93 octane... but I like having that overhead I guess, not interested in exploring the limits. It's still a pretty clear power boost.

Good to know, that's the same I'm planning on. Charge pipe, FMIC, and then MHD, perhaps BMS intake

I'd skip the BMS intake, it will mess with your MAF readings with an OTS tune. I'd highly recommend catless downpipe. I'm on MHD 2+, and my most noticeable gain was from 1+ with stock DP to 1+ with catless DP. Honestly, my fastest 0-60 was on 1+ catless. On 2+, my boost and load targets are higher, but the actual load, actual boost, and wgdc% don't seem any higher than they did on 1+.

Edit: I'm n55, and assumed you're n55 too, but just realized you might not be. So please take with a grain of salt if you're not n55, haha!
