Tracking Canadian orders?
Hey guys,
I know that US owners can join BMW's Owner's Circle and track their car through production to shipment to delivery. Was wondering if there's a similar service for us Canadians? Let me know, thanks! |

Nope, other than talking to your CA. What you can do manually is get the VIN from your CA and you track through the shipping company to see when it arrives at the port. Check the ordering forum to see the link for that site.

Sorry, what does CA stand for?
I got a production number but my dealer said that no VIN will be issued until later (car is schedule for May production). Is that possible or am I missing something? |

Client Advisor..basically the person you spoke (who sold you the car) to at the dealer.
And what you said sounds right; you'll get a VIN after the car has passed production. |

I got my VIN as soon as I ordered but it was because the dealership was able to change an allocation they had already in process. Once you get a VIN you can use that shipping company's website but there is nothing that I have seen that allows us to track it coming in on the train.

Eh, I guess I should just stop obsessing so much. It'll be here in June and that's all I need to know, I should go back to focusing on business so I can afford to pay for the car when it arrives, haha. I'll just call my CA at the beginning of June and ask for my VIN so I can track the shipment. Thanks.
