2011 128i 6spd Slicktop Alpine White Street/Track
Hey all, I'm selling my 2011 128i. It's a street/track build that is both surprisingly compliant on the street and capable on track. As you know, the 128i is the last of BMW's hydraulic steering + NA straight 6 + "lightweight" car. I had it corner balanced and it weighed in at 3125lb with a half a tank of gas- surprisingly light for a modern BMW. This car has been enthusiast owned throughout its entire life and the last number of owners are members of this group. As such, it received a ton of good maintenance and drives extremely well. I'm selling because I picked up another 2011 128i with less miles and more mods. If I hadn't, I would've committed to this car longer. This particular 128i is a rare, lightweight spec (slicktop, sport pkg, manual seats, xenon headlights, no other options) I can drive it to California tomorrow if I wanted too. The Redshift coilovers (custom valved BC coilovers mated with Swift springs that feel better than a lot of what GC and even TC Kline offer) feel very refined. It has incredible compliance for the performance it gives. The car has a modern E30 kind of feel to it. Here are the specs: Year: 2011 Model: 128i (N51 Engine) Transmission: 6 speed manual VIN: WBAUP9C51BVF46482 Color: Alpine White (Ext), Dakota black interior with glass black trim Factory Options: Sport Package, Xenon, heated manual seats Current mileage: 139,xxx Title: Clean title in hand Mods/Maintenance done before my ownership: - Dyno tuned @ Stage Performance: 217hp/210tq - Oil changes @ 5k intervals - Plugs & Coils - Diff, transmission fluid regularly serviced using Redline products - Tensioner, idler pulley, drive belt (70k miles) - Cleaned VANOS solenoids / MAF sensors (125k miles) - Brake overhaul, calipers replaced with rebuilt 328i aluminum calipers front & back (70k miles) - SuperSprint Section 1, 2 and 135i muffler (80k miles) - 135i front bumper (80k miles) - Performance spoiler replica painted in Alpine White (80k miles) - Oil filter housing gasket using the latest OE gasket along with coolant flush (100k miles) - TPMS module delete (Module failure) + coded out TPMS (100k miles) - 1M steering wheel - ZHP shift knob - 1M strut mount braces (100k miles) - H&R front sway bar and Whiteline adjustable end links (100k miles) - TSW M3 front control arms (105k miles) - Meyle HD Inner + Outer tie rods and alignment (105k miles) - New, Philip D1s Bulbs - Front & rear passenger ABS speed sensors changed - Whiteline rear subframe inserts - 17x8 OZs with 225/45R17 Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 - 17x9 Tirerack C4s with 245/40R17 Falken RT660s - Red Shift coilovers (125K) valved for autocross/trackcross with 8K/12k Swift springs - Schroth Rallye Pro harnesses Maintenance/Mods done during my ownership: 131k: - Engine oil change (Liquimoly 5w40) - MTF fluid (Redline MTF) - Diff fluid (Redline 75w90) - Brake fluid (RBF600) - Clutch fluid (RBF600) - P/S fluid (Pentosin CHF11S) - Pads and rotors all around (Ferrodo DS2500 with Zimmerman blanks) - Wheel alignment 132k: - Corner balance and alignment - Driver rear ABS sensor - Replace HID bulbs with new D1S 135k: - waterpump replaced - coding for brake fade warning, and a few other codes that can cause limp mode on track were coded out Corner Balance Specs: Front Left - 843lb Front Right - 839lb Rear Left - 829lb Rear Right - 794lb Minus driver's weight + half tank of gas, total weight = 3125lb Included parts: - N54 Oil filter housing - H&R rear sway bar The car is in good shape overall, especially considering the age and mileage, but it does have a few notable blemishes on the exterior including: - Ding on passenger door edge - Ding on trunk corner - Street wheels have a shimmy around 65mph - Front LCA bushings have a slight creak in cold Feel free to reach out Last edited by jox5; 01-30-2023 at 10:28 AM.. |
