That gray setup made me reposition my entire stance. They threw in the right amount of accents to make it freakin' awesome.

On that yellow, the $2K/per wheel certainly helps it stand out. Those BBS' are unreal.
Yeaa its all about the stance and wheels Knew you would like it!

The first one is a wrap- the lambo grey w/ green stoptechs is a full paint.

Great job researching and compiling all the info from the OGs like ilikebmxbikes, Venom and Sk8fe.

Since you're the first I've read about going with full OEM rear quarters, any reason you chose one of the bigger quarter panels instead of the smaller one that focuses more on the wheel arch itself?

alarcon > I appreciate you dropping in and checking out the build. There are others that have done full rear quarters as well due to collision/repair circumstances, etc. I'll compile a list and put it on the first page of this thread.

The panels come in several flavors:
41008052629 > $455.13/each (used more for fender damage)
41008052627 > $822.22/each (used more for fender & rear roof damage)
41008052395 > $879.08/each (the whole thing)

Note: I used ECSTuning for price comparison. You can get them cheaper elsewhere, but the price gap is more-or-less consistent wherever you decide to purchase...

Each option comes with the entire fender/arch. It really depends on the amount of damage you're trying to repair. In a conversion project, unless applicable, go with the $455.13 -- no need to spend the extra money. That's the way to go -- that's the reason I did it.

MaDoNiOn > Yesir! IMHO, this will probably be the easiest way to go about it. ilikebmxbikes & Venom had their rear arches grafted -- square-by-square -- really tedious work. Checkout it out. Their rear arches flare out a little more than a factory 1M (from what I'm told). The final product is simply outstanding. That said, the quote I got was pretty much the same between custom-grafting the arches and buying the panels. The difference is -- time and labor. Using the panels is a more straight forward approach and takes less time to do, thus -- less $$.

I might not even replace the entire panel(s). I'll probably just cut out large squares above the arches and weld. This will save even more time & money in regards to removing windows, paint, etc.

Update >

Setup a instagram account fellas. Hit me up: http://instagram.com/tun3d1m

Car went in this morning to start work on the rear quarters. I have more updates as well, just haven't had time. Finished the PPK2 and horns, etc. Man what a bitch. Also destroyed my hood this morning -- so -- time for a new hood.

MaDoNiOn > I haven't given it thought yet. Once the rears are done then I'll focus on the trunk/battery/exhaust. I didn't even buy a diffuser -- as I want to get something aftermarket from the jump.

ilikebmxbikes > The revozport product line is simply awesome. Everything is so damn pricey though. I shot them an email and inquired about the splitter. Came out to $1850. Shipping alone was $650. I need to get a third job to keep up. LMAO! I wouldn't even want to drive it knowing I have $1850 2" from the pavement. LOL!

Grinchxvx > Thanks man! I'm updating the first page now. Reorganizing some stuff. I also just came back from the shop -- have some really bad-ass pics of the rear work being done.

What do you mean by "single conversion"?

big single turbo, looks like they're going to be the future of big power with the n54. there's a guy local to me that has a ST 335i and his 1st and 2nd gears are completely useless so I figure ill need those wide fenders for bigger tires! plus the 1M is one of my all time favorite bmws.

MaDoNiOn > That's a shit story I want to forget...LMAO...bad Tuesday. I'm with you on the raised bonnet. ilikebmxbikes suggested revozport -- which is awesome. I also like Seibon and a few others. I'll get to that after the rear is done.
