Thanks, but holy cow, that one at 240 is out of stock and everywhere they are $400 and up. That's a little more than I want to spend when all I really want is the Homelink option. Any other suggestions?

From my research, you need 51169192321 if you have the convenience package. This part has the 315MHz remote which is necessary for the factory alarm.
If you did not get ZCV with the alarm, I believe you can use 51169192335. This is the same (auto dim, alarm led, homelink, compass) but does not have the 315MHz remote. These are the current part numbers with the newer low profile alarm LED. The older parts with the "clown nose" style LED should still work if you don't mind that look. |

Anyone done this when they needed the retrofit wire? I'm ready to pull the trigger but would appreciate tips from anyone that has added the homelink mirror to a stripped car.

Yes, i think a lot of people are like me and didn't want to pay $2K for a package just so they can have an integrated garage door opener!
Let the hacking begin! |

I think Ill just keep my garage remote on the little shelf in the door side storage. That's where it sat in my 135 and worked fine. I would love to do this, but I would rather spend $300-$500 on a mid pipe.

If I can get a Homelink mirror for $150 (that look's factory) I'll do it.
