Seatbelt and Airbag Light on after Removing Seat

I removed the passenger seat for racing and when i put it back and plugged everything in properly the Seatbelt and Airbag lights remained on. I contacted BMW service and they said they have to reset the computer. I have an OBDII-CAN scanner but the BMW tech said that they need to use his computer tool (forgot what its called). The tech quoted me at $140...OUCH...

Anyone know of another way to clear these codes?

Generic OBDII scanners only read/clear engine and transmission faults. You need a tool designed specifically for BMW's MRS system to clear the faults.

Yeah that's what i figured...and i also dont think that BavTech tool will work for the same reason.
