Paging BMW PS users

Have you (or can you) measured your ride height pre-and post install of the BMW PS? I just got my suspension done, and at first glance optically I didn't see any difference (in fact, seemed a hair higher). I measured the ride height yesterday running stock (with the exception of non RFT tires with slightly wider patch and hence a tad higher profile), it measured at 25 3/8ths up front and 25 4/8ths on the rear.

Measuring it now, both front and rear are about 1 to 2/8ths higher! Granted, I used Dinan camber plates but those are fairly thin. Def not seeing the 0.5 inch front/ 0.75 inch rear drop as advertized. Don't think the 135i needs a substantial drop, but that would have been perfect. Should I expect the suspension to settle? If indeed it settles so much, I recon I will need another alignment.

Will get some more miles behind my belt before I can comment substantively on the PS, but definitely a big improvement without much loss of comfort. The rear is a lot more composed, though I still feel some 'uneasiness' at high speed cornering on uneaven pavement (I should note temps are below freezing and running M+S tires, which TireRack actually considers summers as opposed to A/S). I have the M3 rear subframe bushings at hand, chose not to install them at the same time so I get to feel the marginal contribution of each upgrade.

I would definitely expect it to settle a bit, so go drive it hard for a week and report back. Every car I've ever lowered has settled a decent amount, which is why I usually postpone my alignment for a week or two.

Also, the Dinan camber plates will increase the front ride height just a little due to their design.

interesting thought about postponing alignment. I am having my KW's installed and wonder if i should tell them not to align yet and go drive for a week or two first.

Thx for the feedback. Funny thing is on the M5 I didn't notice any settling on the Dinan Stage III (Koni) suspension, ditto for the Stasis/Ohlin coilovers I had installed last yr on my RS4. Maybe with this suspension it is a little different. Certainly would love to get 1/2 inch or so of drop from stock!

Just had the performance suspension installed on my 1. Measured dimension before dropping the car off for installation, 25 5/16" rear and 25 3/16" front. After two days of light driving measured dimension 25 1/4" rear and 25 1/8" front so 1/16" settle front and rear in two days. More to follow. The car feels great! If your thinking about it, do it.
