Interesting about the wheel refinishing....I've been debating doing that, but after seeing this video I'm second guessing it. Great share. I wish this guy lived in Arizona...

I would love to be able to find whatever he uses for his windows (not sold on amazon), because I've tried everything and I still have streaks!

welcome aboard Jim

Just curious with a detail like that how many times could you do it before the clear coat gets too low?

Very minimal affect on overall clear coat thickness. Even an extensive correction like this may only be removing fractions of a micron of clear coat. Also the use of the new machines, pads and liquids helps make this process safer. Less heat is generated than old school rotary polishing so the risk of thinning or burn through is lessened.

Heavy compounding aside you can machine polish modern clear coats, especially harder paints like those found on most all German cars many times over without thinning out the clear in a dangerous way. Obviously be smart nobody needs their paint machined polished 5x per year

Jim did an unbelievable job on this car and every car he works on, top notch great turnaround

Awesome video ... ready to ship my car back overseas

What is the small polishing pad he is using in the beginning on the bumper and trunk area?
