You can use a bmw OEM setup and then you would need the bumper, ducting and fender liner. The parts are getting tougher to find now. I could not get the duct for the performance bumper I just put on. I could not get the brake ducts either. Best bet is to run aftermarket lines and coooler and not be restricted by you choice of bumper. |

Also, is it possible to add that smaller radiator, the same one from the 1M or the BMW Performance Upgrade V2 kit maybe? Never saw worrying temps, but never hurts to think about more oil and coolant cooling. |

The 1m/335/m3 cooler can be used and have it all factory also. The placement can be better optimized with size and positioning with an aftermarket cooler for less money. You wouldn’t have to change your bumper and ducting.

It would be easier just to pick up a whole unite, with hoses, cooler etc used i guess. |

For those of you considering the OEM 135/335 set up, I do think it would be sufficient for an NA car, BUT... Recent experience with that set up with a friend that has a 335 says it is not optimal. He had all kinds of heat issues all year long, after just a few laps. He recently had an incident on track, and tore off the passenger side bumper cover. No real damage, just the cover, so we zip tied it up and he went out. No heat issues. The bumper cover/ducting were restricting flow to his cooler. Once it was exposed to clean unobstructed air, it's capacity to cool went way up.
