White 1M in Munich

I was on a bike tour in Munich when I noticed this 1M parked on the street. Everyone on the bike tour is taking pictures of some city landmark and I'm off taking pictures of cars on the street.

Does it belong to anyone here? Looked nice...besides the wheel rash.

What I noticed when I was in Germany/Austria is that everyone had a nice modern car. No 20yo trash heap Hyundai with a "my kids an honor student" bumper sticker. And that the cars are crazy expensive ie like over 100k euro for an X5 or something like that. And you would never see a ridicules custom set up like "west coast customs". Cars are strictly utilitarian.

Totally agree! I was in Austria as well. What was most odd to me is nobody has a sunroof. Being 6'3", I can barely fit in most cars comfortably anyway and the sunroof doesn't help. I also saw very few Teslas. I see three of four Tesla's a day here in Scottsdale and I think I saw two Tesla's in 10 days during my trip.

. I believe there are aggressive buyback and recycling programs which is why the general automobile seems to be 15 years or newer. I did see an older eighties VW GTI on the autobahn driven by a twenties-ish guy. He was definitely trying to get me to show off in the 1M ! Lol.

With respect to customization, most cars were DEBADGED. M5s looked like 528s and pimped 528s look like an M5 almost.

I did see this in Salzburg Austria however.... ...
