My fav Colour would be Melbourne Red Metallic...but they didn't want to paint it in that colour. I begged them, but no.

What about going more classic. Your upgrades could pull this off.

Personally, I would leave it alone. For a shade of blue though, I would consider Estoril.

Honestly, what would be really cool and reversible would be to pick your favorite color and paint the wheels, mirrors, and part of the spoiler following the theme of the Porsche GT3 RS.

But if the sting is irresistible, why not tinker with the idea to first try something reversible, inexpensive and less radical, like for example an ///M version of the Porsche checkered flag sticker. If you don't like it, just remove it. ...And check the pictures below: wing alert !

Im also playing with the idea of leaving the factory AW color adding CF roof and removing the wing. Possibly changing up the color on the wheels? Changing brake caliper color?

If you intend to toy with the color of your pretty expensive BBS FI's, then consider giving them the gunmetal treatment. Don't go black.

v1k0d3n got his 359 M stock wheels treated that way, and the result is pretty cool. Here's his story:

Smurf blue is easily one of the best colors to ever come out of BMW.

I recall a 135 that was painted LSB a few years back, and it looks absolutely stunning on a 1 series. Let me see if I can dig it up for you

Heres a photoshop of it on a 1M

I cant find it...but heres another pshop, this time on a 135 with breytons

It gives a good idea as to what youd be looking at.

Another thought, have you considered Estrol Blue? Its another great color.

You have good taste in M colors. These are my three favorite also. I think the car would look fantastic in any of the three!!!! You should do it!!! Not sure about the spoiler though.
