It took a couple of months of searching, but I finally pulled the trigger on a '97 Miata. It's in decent shape but needs a little TLC to really be great. But that's part of the fun, right? 80k miles, and cost several grand less than what I got for my 128i so once I use up that budget, it will be track ready.

It is not nearly as nice or fast as the BMW, but it is more fun to drive and own.

I have a 1'er and a 93 miata (I've had the miata forever, 17 years)
Hopefully you'll get another 1'er some day.

Side skirt extensions come.in next week and new wheels should be coming soon as well. I also ordered some vinyl samples so that I can get that in and change the color again

Anywho...I washed it today. In a parking lot. Aero Cosmetics Wash and Wax All is my hero. Somebody scratched it, though, which is sad.

Also, 196k miles!

I think another driveshaft bolt (or a few) are coming loose because there's a clunk that sounds all too familiar Glad I brought tools with me to school!

Has anyone fitted base F80 brakes? Local guy is getting rid of all corners for C H E A P and I'm wondering if it's been done yet.

I think they bolt right up for the fronts like the F30 335i brakes do. For the 128i, the rears need a 1/8" spacer and time-serts to reduce the thread size for the F80 rear calipers. I don't know about the 135i...

Says I bought them Oct 2017, and odds are I put them in soon after. So I guess it's been about 2 years.

I did have to code out the bulb checks. The cold check would flash like cop lights. Code the check out and no more flashing.

Install for me was easy. I'm relocated and there's nothing in the way of the back covers. In stock form it's snug to get the covers off. but really it's just take your time and make sure you can see what you're doing.

Well my 128i is in the process of being fixed and then sold. Picked up an '09 335i a week ago and im in love with it. Probably wont be on 1addicts that much anymore so i wish yall and yalls cars the best!

Feels like I haven't posted here in forever. Been trying to keep all projects updated but the 1er being the daily gets neglected a bit. Finally took time to give it a deep clean on the interiors and did the Gyeon Shield.

Trying to get a different cellphone holder. Had the one you put in the CD but I am running charger cable and also Aux line since the Bluetooth solution many recommend never worked on my car. Anyone running one of those cup holder ones?
