Is anybody in this GB or someone ordering from wheeldude plannign to try a 35 rear tire? I don't think I can live with a 30 tire in Los Angeles, the roads are just too harsh. Please LMK as I am trying to decide to get these or a set of used VB3 CSL locally.

I should note that I will NOT BE LOWERING my car. I noticed that driving with friends, on many curbs there is only like a 1" gab between my door and the curb, if I lower I will have people scratching my door all the time. Not worth it IMO

The VB3 are more aggressive.

The look you mean? Alugelgen, did you do any testing with 35 tires in the rear? Do you think it'd be possible on stock setup without a roll?

Personally, I would stick to 30 series rear and 35 front for the closest to stock diameters...remember these sf71 wheels are 8" wide front and 9" wide rear (not 8.5 and 9.5) so a 255 rear in a 30 series will not stretch...it will sit nice and square giving you a good sidewall height and I don't think the ride will be harsh at all...just my .02

I think he means more aggressive in the sense that you actually have more chance of rubbing with vb3 since the offset + larger width will make them stick out more...while the sf71 will sit just inside the fender, perfectly.

I thought that was what he could have meant. The guy seems to say it fits with no rub but I think hes actually just saying that cause he doesn't even have specs on the rims... I get what you are saying about 8x9 vs 8.5x9.5 didn't think of it that way. I am a HUGE tire/wheel newb.

Worst case you can just roll your fenders. It is very simple to do.

Ok, so im having trouble deciding between 255/35/19 or a 265/30/19, because i can't find the recommended size in a tire I want to buy. I am planning on buying the Hankook ventus v12 and lowering my car with eibach pro kit springs. Which of those two sizes would any of the tire experts recommend? I dont have a problem rolling my fenders but dont want to have to do more than that to get the tires to fit without rubbing. Thanks

Kris test fit the General Exclaims 265/30/19's and they're a steal right now...I got them shipped (literally in 24 hours) for 600 bucks.
