N55 Stage 1 Questions
Has anyone had any experience with the N55 Stage 1 from BurgerTuning? The price seems very reasonable. I have a 2012 135i and I was told it was compatable but read on here that its not? The stage 1 claims to be a lot easier to install and uninstall but wasn't sure if its that much easier than JB4. Can maps be set like JB4 or does it stay on one map?

the Jb stage 1 is one of the most popular tune choices.
It is very easy to install (5-10 minutes, only 2 sensors) and adds a good amount of boost for instant reliable power. Check out the vendor section for deals on the Jb It has 1 map only ( you can get the USB cable and change boost) Unlike the Jb4 it does not connect to the Canbus which makes install much easier ( JB4 install time is 45 minutes - 1 hour)

The Stage 1 is basically the same just less customization and less power, still a great item. 5-10 mins is a pretty low install estimate, give yourself 30mins realistically especially if you're not often DIYing. I don't believe there are different maps with the Stage 1 but could be wrong.

I don't think you'll be disappointed, I'm very happy with mine and being able to switch everything on the fly is great.
If you get the USB cable you can make all kinds of other adjustments as well. I didn't get it with mine but I'll probably order it down the road.

Jb4 is the only way to go on the N55. Lots of room to expand and adapts to mods easily. Get the USB cable and do some reading at N54tech.com. Under the N55 subsection, there is a plethora of information you need to know.
