Eye Opener. The 135ti will be $57,000
Well, no one has said it yet so I will. With the 135i maxing at $52,000 loaded, Jeez, the 135ti is going to upwards of $60,000?! Granted the ti will have a lot of standard features I'm sure, but.... wow... used Porsche's and even a brand new Caymen start looking reeeeaaaalllllyyy good.

I believe the tii is supposed to be a 4 cylinder, according to press reports. You're making up a price on a non-existent car.
By the way, 135i does not max out at $52k. If you add up everything on the option list, you're paying for stand-alone items that are included in packages you've already paid for. Enough with the drama posts, please. |

I think it has been stated that if you use packages and not just option pricing, then it maxs out around 47k ..
thanks, Crowley

And....the 135ti is what the automotive industry calls a "design study", its a one of a kind vehicle built to generate buzz at an auto show. Its never going to make production, and there is no point in ever mentioning the 135ti again.

You could say that about the 3 series coupe too. A max-out optioned 335i coupe is 54k. Even worse a max-out optioned 335i convert. is 59k, hell you might as well pick-up the new M3. |

That's cheap guys. I'm going to have to pay upwards of US$64,000 for a 135i here in Australia to get one on the road.... and that's without any options!

I believe the Tii (if it comes to the US) will be priced lower than the 135i

Newhouseent is a troll. Don't feed him.
Eye opener, 335i sedan value will drop by 70% in 3 days. Says me. OMG sell your 335 tomorrow.

With your tax rate added to a loaded 335i coupe, you could leave paying well over $60k, and leave paying almost $70k for a 335i convert. But a very very small percentage gets every single option and package. I am willing to bet most people picking up a 135i will leave the dealership paying under $40,000 without taxes. |

Point well taken 'slickone' and I believe you're right about most buyers. I understand that I am in the minority, but I was discussing maxing out. For 5K more I could have a loaded 335i and it has got me to think. As pricing goes I think the 135 is a specialty model in BMW's view as it is very much in the 3 series territory, but it's the 'specialty' factor I love. I do think though I will be seeing a lot of loaded 1ers in my area (SF Bay) and my dealer agrees (all the mid life crisis sufferers like myself).
