Which Trim? Chrome or Shadowline

I didn't vote in the poll because I couldn't decide which I like better. I think both trims look good for different reasons, like what many people have already stated. But I think I want chrome trim on my 1 since I already have the black on my 3. But I guess with the sport package thrown in it won't make a difference.

On a separate matter. Are the sport seats significantly lighter? Just wondering why a lot of people here want to pay extra for the sport seats. What benefits does it have over standard seats?

Still disagree. The HK seemed to shrink with the shadowline trim both making it look small and poorly designed.

Just because BMW thinks that shadowline is more aggressive, doesn't mean that they are automatically correct and that this apparent "shadowline = sporty" theme is inherent in BMWs.

Well obviously what people say is "sporty" or not is pure opinion and is completely objective and in the eye of the beholder. I was just stating facts that chrome on a black car has more contrast (as does shadowline on a light colored car) and thus catches the eye faster and that since BMW is the respected car maker here, and not us, that they probably know more about what they want on a car that they consider more "sporty" than others, hence the use of shadowline trim on the sport and ///M models
