Steering wheel shake after new tires

Hey there! I recently put on some new rears, went with the oem eagle sports for now, but since then my steering wheel vibrates like a vibrator. Mind you I have 15 mill spacers on the fronts and rears and adjustable coil overs. Should I be going to get them re done??

Yep, get the tires rebalanced.

Sometimes there are color coded dots on a new tire. They should be aligned with the valve stem - for proper balance. Also one of your new wheel weights could have come off.

Oh great, I'll get it done ASAP. I'll have to check for the weights and the line, thanks for advice! Hopefully I'll update soon 😁

So wait...you only put on new rear tires, but the steering vibrates badly now? That makes no sense unless it's just a coincidence. Did they rotate your front tires? Anything can happen in a tire shop. Maybe the tech pulled the weights off the fronts to replace them until he realized they were only replacing the rears and never fixed it.

Yes only my rears, to many skids 😏. But I'm not sure if they did or not. They added new weights tot he Rears, I had painted my rims but the weights were left in, when I got it back I could see the new weights.

Changes to the rear tires are not likely to make the steering wheel shake.. even if they are missing a weight or two.. that's odd..

Agreed, odd that the steering wheel is shaking after only replacing the rears. Something must have changed, either at the tire shop, or a coincidental bend, crack, loosening, or something on the front as well.

UPDATE: got all 4 tires rebalanced and a full alignment. All steering wheel shake is gone from 0-45 accelerating and decelerating. The moment it hits 50-60 it's shakes horribly. 70 and up it is fine. Not sure what's going on. Also CEL might came up for a powertrain issue. Not sure if it's related but I'll make a esperare thread on it if I can't find anything already posted. I do still have the manufacture warranty so I will call to see what can be done for me.
