P-Torque offer a 14 day money-back guarantee but as far as I know, the others don't
Evolve has a 30 day return policy, at least it did when i bought it

No, OP said he was good with it.

So you have a STD printout of your car with the Evolve tune vs stock with A/F? Do you have winpep?

Me too.

Ended up going with Active Autowerke for a number of reasons. We shall see how well an AA tune works on an Aus/Euro 125i.

Will do. I'll be interested to see how your OE header tune goes too.

They offered to send me over the files and I don't have the SW for the Mygenius tool installed. D'oh.

Easy fixed though - install the software again?

I got the AA tune in over the weekend and initial impressions are good. Talking over email with AA at the moment to clarify a couple of things but then it'll be off to the dyno.

I also took some video of my current exhaust sound (I.e. With the ARMA headers) which I'll post up to finish off this thread. I'll start a new thread for the tune once I've got everything sorted.

Just to finish this thread off, I edited some GoPro footage to try to capture the exhaust note with this setup. Pretty hard to get a true-to-life representation but it's a little bit better than a subjective description in text.

Hopefully my YouTube link works.

I am looking to get some headers.

Any gains after the tune? Have you got dyno charts post tuning?

Edit: I think I found a thread relating to your car after tune. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1188958

Yep; that’s the thread.

However, it’s hard to make any comments about the tune that would be useful for someone with a 130i. The tune I used de-restricts the 125i to 130i kind of numbers so I don’t have any reference for 130i baseline power/torque.

It’s been a while since I’ve looked at these boards (sold my 125i last year) but I think there are new tunes available, so may be best looking for comparators from them.

Bpc tune is currently the best IMO, very good support as well and you can upgrade the tune (they have milvs support more power by increasing lift in cams after upgrading supports in the head)
