Up for sale is my low-mileage 2008 BMW 128 hardtop coupe with a manual transmission in silver metallic has been carefully cared-for and is in great condition. Non-smoker owner. Selling to make room in the garage. The car is currently located in Chicago with 89,xxx miles and is priced to sell.


This car has been meticulously maintained. The PO owned it for 8 years and invested almost 20k in repairs. It even comes with two keys! Major mid-life failure parts have all been replaced in the past year and a half - Valve cover gasket, spark plugs, ESS sensor, battery, VANOS solenoid, and A/C evaporator. And items showing signs of age-related wear including the shifter knob, shifter boot, and exterior mirrors were all replaced in the previous two years. No known or unaddressed issues with the car. Full synthetic oil change, cabin filter done 400 miles ago. Clean bill of health from Knauz BMW Chicago. Full 11-year maintenance history delivered to the buyer from the dealer & reputable independent euro shop.

Interior is spotless and exterior paint is great given the age. The only ding is a chip on the rear bumper the size of a fingernail (photo below to show).

Comes fitted with virtually brand-new Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season tires and new BMW M-series 18" Jet Black 719M double-spoke wheels. (Less than 2k miles driven) Included in the sale price is a full set of RIAL winter wheels and tires to keep this car on the road year round.

The two black keys are just the stock e82 keys. The silver one is actually a USB drive that has all of the maintenance records on it. Kinda just a geeky way to share the info.

I have a 2008 135i in the same color and 6-speed. If I didn't need AWD on my daily I'd probably snatch this up. It would be so nice to have 2 cars so similar from a maintenance/part swapping perspective.
