I'll answer for him...

The Dinan ECU tune is purchased through a Dinan dealer and is not transferable to another car, therefore it holds no value if removed. However while installed it is a wonderful additive to the cars stock, detuned ECU mapping, it also does other things like increases waterpump speeds to accompany increased boost (to my knowledge not something provided by any other tune)

in addition the ECU tune is specifically designed for the Dinan exhaust so they work together, and while the OP could likely get rid of the exhaust, its made to be a package and IMO should be kept that way.

Interject OP if you feel otherwise, until then free bump for you!

However tmiller, you could certainly make the guy an offer

I appreciate the detailed and well thought out response. I wasn't aware of the increased water pump speeds, that itself is kind of unique. The only reason I ask is because I see the JB4 as a slightly more desirable tune (imo) as it has direct integration with the bms meth kit which I plan on installing on whatever car I happen to purchase.
