Halos on unlock
Hey guys,
Is there a way to make it so that ONLY your halos come on upon unlock? I have the switch set so that the halos AND the amber blinker lights illuminate. Any way to make the ambers not light up while keeping the halos illuminated? Thanks |

You bet- can be done via coding. There are actually many variations of lights on lock/unlock. And a whole giant bunch of other stuff you can tweak with coding.
Easiest- pay a pro, can be done remotely Easy- get a copy of Carly and have fun- lots of coding in a "for dummies" format Not Easy for beginner, but best overall- get your hands on the package of software tools used to code/troubleshoot/maintain by BMW, learn how to install it all properly, learn how to use it, then you can do a whole shit ton of things

Agreed w/ this one, has a lot of options for the lighting. It's not difficult to learn how to work it and it has a lot of other bonuses as well (i.e. no more gong noises, no more idrive warning screens).

Really recommend the Carly Bluetooth dongle.
One of the options you are looking for is welcome home lighting. Easy way to make only the rings turn on is to turn off the corners completely as drls.
